The short version: enjoy the Experience, use it reasonably, and remember that sport has an unfortunate habit of making fools of predictions.
About these terms
These Terms of Use apply when you access or use The Sportzologist Experience, including its website, web app, content and interactive features.
By using the Experience, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms and applicable law.
What The Sportzologist Experience is
The Sportzologist Experience provides sports content, commentary, history, trivia, tipping, entertainment and other sports-related features.
Some material is factual or historical. Some is commentary, opinion, humour or satire. The context of the material should be taken into account when using the Experience.
Accounts
Some features may require you to sign in or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email account and device you use to sign in.
You must not attempt to access another person's account or use the Experience in a way that interferes with its security or operation.
NRL tipping and sports predictions
Tipping, previews, predictions, selections and sporting opinions are provided for entertainment and general information.
Sport is unpredictable. No prediction, tip, selection or opinion published through The Sportzologist Experience is a guarantee of a particular result.
Nothing in the Experience should be treated as betting, gambling or financial advice.
User submissions
The Experience may allow you to submit material such as sporting grievances, feedback, comments or other contributions.
You remain responsible for material you submit. You must not submit material that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, deliberately misleading, invasive of another person's privacy, or that infringes another person's rights.
You should not include sensitive personal information about yourself or another person unless there is a genuine reason to do so.
Material may be moderated, declined or removed where reasonably necessary to operate and protect the Experience and its users.
Using submitted material
If you deliberately submit material for possible publication or inclusion in The Sportzologist Experience, you give The Sportzologist permission to reproduce, edit, format and display that material for the purpose for which it was submitted.
Submitting material does not guarantee that it will be published. Where practical, substantial edits that materially change the meaning of a contribution will be avoided.
Our content
Unless otherwise stated, original text, artwork, characters, branding, page designs and other original material created for The Sportzologist Experience belong to The Sportzologist or are used with appropriate permission.
You may view and use the Experience for ordinary personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, republish, sell, scrape, systematically copy or commercially exploit substantial parts of the Experience without permission.
Accuracy and historical material
Reasonable care is taken when researching and publishing factual and historical material. Sports records and historical accounts can nevertheless contain conflicting sources, incomplete records or information that is later corrected or expanded.
The Sportzologist may update, correct or expand material when new information becomes available.
Availability of the Experience
We aim to keep The Sportzologist Experience available and working properly, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
Features may occasionally be changed, suspended or unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, service-provider issues or further development of the Experience.
Third-party services and links
The Experience may use or link to services, websites or content operated by third parties. Those services operate under their own terms, policies and practices.
A link or reference to a third-party service does not necessarily mean that The Sportzologist controls or endorses everything provided by that service.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Sportzologist is not responsible for loss resulting solely from reliance on sporting predictions, commentary, opinions or other general information provided through the Experience.
Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as The Sportzologist Experience develops or new features are introduced. The current version will be published here.
